Lipa na Bold | Accept M-PESA Payments Without Your Own PayBill

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Lipa na Bold (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not access or use the Platform. Lipa na Bold is an independent service built using the Safaricom Daraja API and is not directly affiliated with Safaricom PLC.

2. Account Registration and Security

To use our payment collection services, you must register for an account using a valid email and phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Payment Collection Services

Lipa na Bold provides a platform that enables individuals and businesses to collect M-PESA payments professionally without obtaining their own PayBill or Till. You are responsible for ensuring that the payment details provided to your customers are accurate. Lipa na Bold is not responsible for failed or delayed transactions resulting from incorrect payment information provided by you or your customers.

4. Fees, Pricing, and Billing

The Business plan carries a flat fee of KSh 50 per month and incurs 0% transaction commission from Lipa na Bold. The Creator plan has no monthly subscription fee and charges a 5% commission on successful tips received. All subscription fees are paid via M-PESA STK Push. M-PESA transaction charges applied by Safaricom still apply and are borne by customers or merchants depending on the transaction ranges. We reserve the right to review fees in the future.

5. Settlements and Withdrawals

Available balances can be withdrawn directly to your registered M-PESA phone number. We process withdrawals instantly via official Safaricom B2C API transfers. While transfers typically finalize in under 30 seconds, delays caused by Safaricom network issues are out of our direct control.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Lipa na Bold for any unlawful purposes, including but not limited to fraudulent transactions, money laundering, processing payments for illegal goods or services, or attempting to compromise the security and stability of the platform. We reserve the right to audit, block withdrawals, and terminate accounts violating these provisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

Lipa na Bold is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operations. We are not liable for any lost profits, lost revenue, transaction errors, or damages resulting from the use of or inability to use our Platform.
